Drain free...!!!!
Day 13 - after double mastectomy.
Yesterday was draining.... Literally... From the damn drains! So painful! ??
Had appointments with Breast Surgeon and Plastic Surgeon today...

It really is a turning point when the drains are gone and you stop feeling like an alien in a movie. A little bit of fluid build up wouldn't hurt anyway. They could drain that off next week and your expanders can take up the room the fluid was making.
You're all good. I bet you wished that meal time could go for hours. I made everyone drink 3 cups of coffee while they waited for me to finish my birthday meal. Luckily coffee was all free with the meals where I was and you could hop up and make your own.
