Double Mastecomy advise

I had a double mastecomy 9 weeks ago and I am pretty concerned and need your advice please ladies.

I have had my right side drained 8 times, due to a seroma, and my left side has been drained 5 times.  My concern is the left side is becoming very painful and is quite hard.  I have seen the breast care nurse about this, and she says that I need to see the surgeon!!!!  It is quite painful and looks horrible.

Anyone out there that has had this problem, I would really love to hear from you, as I am becoming quite anxious.

    I am sorry to hear that this is happening to you.  I personally can't tell you anything as I have not had this - lumpectomies.  I am sure there will be plenty of advice coming your way from the lovely Pink Sisters on here.  In the meantime, have you taken the advice of the breast care nurse and contacted your surgeon?  My thoughts are with you for some speedy relief.
