Of course I don't mind you responding to my post, your situation is just another example of how important it is to make informed decisions about surgery options. It can be tough when others doubt your choice, especially family. Asking the doctors lots of questions is the only way to be sure of what is the best course of action as no one else has the expert knowledge and the facts about your individual situation. It is so important to understand why the doctors recommend a particular surgery and helps to give you real peace of mind.
I like your point about the drastic action not being the insurance that some people seem to think it should be. That's a great way to put it. I felt so alone earlier today but the responses I have received have really helped me to feel that amazing positive support from women who do understand. Thank-you.
