All trauma affects emotions. Suddenly finding you have a life threatening illness, often without warning, is traumatic. Of course it can be emotional. I've been thinking a bit about Black Saturday - I think everyone affected has felt emotional this week. Emotions are good. We get worried that we are losing control. To an extent, we are. We are allowing our controlled, rational selves to re-experience feelings because they actually matter. We don't want to get lost in them but we don't want to lose them either. You are 3 months into this little saga, things will change. Quite how none of us know yet, but that's life. And life is very precious. Best wishes.
