Day 2 Post-Op
I am day 2 post wide local lumpectomy, 2 lesions removed. I can say that I had an overall great experience so I am counting myself very lucky. I thought I would outline my day as it might help other...
It has been an uneventful recovery, so far.
I've slowly weaned down the analgesics and not needed the strong stuff since the first night home.
I've set a reminder in my phone to do the arm exercises which has been really good. I am on to the next stage of exercises now. I have been walking daily up to 45 minutes around the block. it's so good to get out in the sunshine and move gently.
My post op appointment was yesterday and I all is progressing well. We are just waiting for margins to be reported on.
