The itching came on super intensely at night, it woke me up. I spoke to the breast care nurse and she suggested I try an antihistamine as she suspects I might have an allergy to the dressing adhesive or could be the stitches dissolving or nerves trying to reconnect (or all 3). Thankfully the antihistamine has helped for now.
Definitely don't love the random shooting pains (and it's soo random when it happens) but knowing it's a sign of my body healing helps.
