Applevic Post-surgery I had weird random shooting pains in my breast and the underside of my upper arm, and burning sensations in my armpit. The sensations eased up in less than two weeks. I didn't do anything more than grit my teeth when the sensations were most uncomfortable and remind myself that my insides were healing. If it had been too much or too disruptive I would have called my surgeon's office for advice.
Is your itchy constant or random? Does your skin feel warm? Does a painkiller ease it at all?
I hope that the itchy is temporary and eases off so that you can heal without more discomfort.
