Body Scans Clear

Hello my fellow pink sisters, Today I received the great news that my chest, abdomen, pelvic & bone scans are clear. I felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my chest. I don't think I realised how worried I was whilst waiting for these results. I just kept busy & thought positive thoughts. Next big step is on 30/08/13 when I have my bilateral mastectomy. Stay strong & br kind to yourselves. Adrianne

  • Hi Mich, glad to hear that your tests show that your "alien boob" is free of cancer. I will take your advise & try not to think about my breat cancer & the mastectomy during the next week. Take care. Adrianne
  • Hi Deanne, yes I was looking at the screen & trying to see anything that looked different from the normal pattern. At one point the radiographer asked me if I had any pain in my back. I have an old ballet injury that sometimes makes behind my right hip ache. So of course I was thinking that he had seen something on the scan. I left the hospital very full of anxiety. As other girls have said, I will be more relaxed once the cancer is removed & treatment has commenced. Take care of you. Adrianne
  • Woohoo great news girlfriend.  Run with that positively.  Keep yourself busy still and try not to think too hard unless you have to.

I have had a zillioin and one tests over the last month or two on the alien boob that scares the hell out of anyone who looks at it including me and all results are clear, all good, no cancer.  So that is the very best news we can ask for and we have to run, walk or crawl with that so we can be grateful for small mercies.

I will be thinking of you and wishing you well thru and following your surgery.

Lots of love always, Mich xoxoxooxo
