Back again for another op
Hi there - went last Thursday week to have my grade 2 invasive carcinoma removed. Was told the margins were OK and to wait for information regarding 4 weeks of radiotherapy. Boob recovering but so...
Hi there - not what I was expecting. They found a 6mm tumour and another 10mm invasive carcinoma. Margins still not clear enough.
So, I'm having an MRI - I asked for one. And then I will have to make a decision. Do I re-excise again, have a mastectomy, one or both breasts, a reconstruction, with or without prosthetics. And then do I go with chemo and/or radiation.
In a bubble at the moment. I'll wait until I have all of the information and hopefully make the right decision.
