Waiting is the worst. I have my first mammogram and ultrasound, since diagnosis last year, tomorrow. I then have to wait until next Wednesday to find out if all is ok from the surgeon. I have had lots of practise at this type of waiting last year but it never really gets any easier. The best thing is to keep as busy as possible as this distracts us from getting too far ahead with our thinking. No sense worrying about something that may not happen but this is easier said than done! I have a very busy few days planned. I hope that everything turns out ok for you. My own daughters (they are 21 and 19 at the moment) face screening from the age of 30 thanks to me getting BC at 47. If they could just find a cure we would all be able to rest easier. Good luck!
