Did you have Sentinel Lymph Node biopsy at the same time? Was this suggested to you? thanks, B
Hello BM2026. No, there was no lymph node involvement, so I didn't have to have it. I was really scared of that, so was so relieved. It sounds awful, but luckily doesn't take long. We are brave though, and have been going through so much, so I guess it is just one more hurdle to get over.
I am three months out from my mastectomy now, and feel like I am pretty back to normal. Well, my new normal. I hardly think of it now and I don't have any hangups or issues with my new look. Managing my prosthetic boob well and no-one would ever know, by looking at me, that I only had one boob!
