Annual Scans and Stereotactic Biopsy
I had my annual scans last week (ultrasound
and mammogram) and my surgeon called today to say they have found something
small but suspicious and I will need to have a stereotactic biopsy on Monday to...
You can breath without moving your chest if you breath into your diaphragm (at least I think thats what it is!) Lie down with your hand on your chest and try breathing without moving it, it is possible but it takes practise.
Muppet songs are good. I figure its the doctors job to do the serious stuff, my job is to be as relaxed as possible. Your body clenches up when its tense, so being relaxed makes it easier on everyone :) Telling the medical staff what you are singing to yourself is optional. :)
