After surgery diagnosis
Hey there So it's been a week since surgery and my results are in.. a node showed up cancerous. Totally not what I expected. I have an appt tomorrow with the oncologist. I have no idea what to ask ...
It's a kick in the guts to hear that it's hit the nodes, isn't it? It wasn't what I expected, either as examinations beforehand suggested that it was clear. What will be suggested will probably depend a lot on the rest of the path report. Have you got someone you trust to go with you to the appointment? It's always useful to have another pair of ears and someone to pick up on points you may have missed, particularly when your mind is probably spinning.
