Hi Chris. Am approaching the half way mark in my chemo journey. I probably expected worse than what I am experiencing which is good. I am on a 21 day cycle and that first week after chemo I am in bed sleeping or lying around resting for most of the week. I havent had any sickness/vomiting till this week (3rd cycle) but my daughter was also sick so we dont know if we had a bug or mine was chemo and hers was a bug. I am given anti nausea pills so I ended up taking them and have been fine. I have one more 21 day cycle then move on to a different drug which will be 12 weekly cycles so I dont know what to expect for that. I keep telling myself short term pain equals long term gain and every day is one day closer to the end of this journey. Like you said, everyone tolerates chemo differently and the drugs vary too between different cases. I hope you manage yours well.
