Tried the ice pack and it did work for a while so I'll definately be doing it again!
Yes my surgeon apologised to me too, he said he had no choice but to remove the entire nerve from under my arm. He did say if it bothered me too much, especially through chemo, he could give me something for it. But i think I'll be having enough stuff being pumped into me, so the ice pack will become my friend!
Surgery, treatment and all approaches have definitely come a long way, that's for sure! My Mum woke up and her breast was gone (1979),She was 31... that's just how they did things back then.
I guess if this bitch is going to pay you a visit, this day and age is a good time, the tech, the treatments, the support are second to none.
