It's the letting go of part of ourselves and facing that reality square in the face when you look in the mirror...I didn't lose my hair as I was fortunate to not to need chemo but I lost my breast...and that hit me hard...as I am sure it does most women in our situation dealing with breast cancer. Some our femininity is lost, we lose our shape, our hair...we feel less pretty and we stand out...it's a sign we are sick dealing with cancer...you are no less you and you are still beautiful inside and out...treat yourself and buy some pretty scarves...it will eventually grow back. Stay strong and all the best in your journey..
