Treat post Breast Cancer vaginal dryness with the purest lubricants

Manufactured in England, the water based moisturiser is the first certified organic product put on the NHS in England available on script from doctor. Unfortunately, we don't have vaginal moisturises available on script in Australia.  From what I have been advised from BCNA Policy they do not believe worth pursuing an application for vaginal moisturisers to be made available on script here in Australia.  

For anyone suffering vaginal atrophy and unable to treat with estrogen pessaries/creams (on script) I suggest you have a look at these products.  They cannot reverse vaginal atrophy the same as estrogen but some ladies on this site have found they definitely help matters. Vaginal moisturisers are best used every 2nd or third day, the pre-filled applicators can be very expensive so if you can afford them these products are worth a try (I think they have free samples). Just check out the site.  Always remember to run list of ingredients past your doctor.

    Hi soldier Crab.  I already have a response from Yes.  I have copied and pasted it below for you.

    In a nutshell ingredients are clearly displayed on Yes OB tubes so anyone with a bee allergy who may be worried about bees wax can read for themselves..  Yes OB in pre-filled applicators do not contain bees wax.   Here is their response to me.

    How encouraging that the lady found some YES in her local chemist!
    Well this is a completely new one for us! Firstly it is important to specify that only the YES OB in tubes contains Bees Wax (organic). YES OB in Applicators contains no Bees Wax. We have never heard of any correlation between an allergy to bee stings and the topical application of a product containing Bees Wax.  We would imagine that anyone with a severe allergy would always read the ingredients list and be acutely aware of what they can and cannot tolerate.
    The only reason we know of for alerting customers to the presence of Bees Wax, is for Vegans who prefer no to use anything that has any association with animal derivatives. All our water based products and YES OB in Applicators are suitable for Vegans.
    I hope this is helpful but it may be possible that there is a regulation that we are not aware of in Australia to display a warning for products containing Bees Wax.

    Thought you might like to look at this comparison chart:  You will note Sylk contains Glycerine and Grapefruit Seed Extract which is classed as a Paraben.  YES make a statement in their ingredients page that Yes will never use Grapeseed Extract and go on to explain why.  You might want to check out.  Suex

    Pelvic Floor Exercise is a great site Soldier Crab.  Good to know Yes is getting profiled here in Aust.  

    The water based moisturisers are best to keep tissues plump and healthy and I use pre-filled applicators for that as it gets the moisturiser to where it needs to be.  

     I also purchaed the pre-filled oil based applicators which are brilliant for intimacy.

    I know pre-filled applicators are expensive but the products need to be inserted to be effective.

    Yes advised there are adaptors that fit perfectly on the tubes that extract the product easily and can then be inserted. I can't remember where they said they were available as I had already purchased enough pre-filled applicators and didn't need it.  

    I understand you don't like the products and prefer Sylk but thank you for all your thoughtful research.  Much appreciated. Especially good was finding pelvic floor exercise site.   Thanks Suex

    Have had another think about it.  Not all their products are listed on the NHS - just the water based moisturiser I think.  Perhaps they may need to list their ingredients on the packaging.  I have sent them off an email and await their response.

    Thanks for all your homework.  It may still be cheaper buying direct from England at the moment.  Plus I wouldn't imagine stockists would have full range of all products and would have to make special orders anyway.  That may change in the future.

    Anyone with serious allergies would have to read ingredient lists of everything they purchased beforehand.  Same with anyone with nut allergies.  What is good about Yes site in england is it has complete list of all ingredients which I printed out and gave to my GP who gave all thumbs up.  After Breast Cancer I don't take any risks at all as there are lots of things in nature that can turn into estrogen in the body.

    Getting organic certification and listed on the NHS in Englad is a big deal for any product.  It would have had to go through rigorous trials and testing.  I might let Yes know what you said and get back with their response.  

    In the meantime be careful using Sylk.  It was removed from Australian shelves because it claimed to be organic when it contains parabens so use sparingly.
