To shave or not to shave
what are people's experiences? My hair is thinning but I still have quite a bit of hair at the back and a little hair that shows as a 'fringe' when I wear a hat. My scalp is sensitive and I lose hair...
Hi my hair was falling out after first chemo, by the time I got to second one my husband was picking it off my shoulders. For me this was more distressing so I made the decision to have it cut off. It was difficult watching it coming off. I actually got used no hair quicker than I thought I would. I had so much other stuff going on that for me my hair wasn't important anymore. I was advised by my oncologist to mosturise my head with sorbelene. My head got infected and was very painfull for about a week. My husband thinks hairdresser nicked my scalp as immune low. This dosen't happen to everyone just bad luck for me.
