@Carrie2020, I’m just finishing rads. I used MooGoo skin milk moisturiser right through esp for rads if you search for it here you will find the threads. It has certainly supported my skin really well, and soaks in fast. You can order online or at large chemists. Very fast delivery. Also look at their oncology pack, best value. Has a deodorant suitable for radiotherapy, and also a skin wash.
I also used up good quality face stuff that I know suited me, same for natural skin products for hands and feet. Mainly my experience was everything becomes very dry, the skin very thin and tight and tending to be flaky, so I needed to use a lot of everything I had!
As I had a very close trim on my hair, virtually a shave, I did not need a lot of shampoo, mainly needed to keep the Scalp moisturised as above. Occasionally I use a mild sulphate free and paraben free shampoo. A friend gave me nice one called Watermans, which is also thought to help scalp. I think any good quality sulphate, paraben and other nasty chemical free product is a good bet.
All the best for your treatment, lots of love Tinks xx
