I know it doesn’t apply to everyone, but stopping the steroids usually given along with my Taxol infusion ended my problem with constipation. As I had no nausea, the obligatory steroids once every three weeks with A/C didn’t cause too much trouble, but once a week with Taxol created problems. My oncologist acknowledged that the steroids encouraged constipation and was willing to give it a shot as long as I understood I might then feel
