Tamoxifen and Constipation IBS Pelvic floor issues
I have been on Tamoxifen for just over 2 years and over that time have developed worsening constipation then pelvic pain and pelvic issues, have had a diagnosis of IBS and yet to sort pelvic issues, am having a trial off Tamoxifen and things have improved, just wondering if anybody else has had any similar experiences?

Hi there 💗 Thank you for sharing what you've been going through. It sounds like you've had a lot to navigate, and it must be reassuring to notice some improvement since taking a break from Tamoxifen.
While everyone's experience is different, some members have shared that they've experienced digestive changes or discomfort, or other symptoms while taking hormone therapy, and have wondered whether their medication may have been playing a role. It can sometimes be difficult to untangle what is related to treatment and what may be caused by something else, especially when multiple symptoms are involved.
Hopefully, others who have had similar experiences with Tamoxifen, IBS symptoms, constipation, or pelvic issues will be able to share their stories. Keeping your treating team updated on any improvements or changes during your medication break may also help guide the next steps.
