spreading
Hi all its, been 3 weeks since i finished chemo have my op on the,9th but my right shoulder has been.sore for a few days.... whats the chance of it spreading
Just hang in there Donna...
I know how easy it is to get scared at the smallest of changes... As mentioned, I suffer from neuralgias and that means anything from pins and needles or loss of all feeling in a part of the bidy to full blown undescribably string pain when I would be curled up on the floor pleeding with my husband to just put an end to it all and out me out of my misery... unfortunately have had it for many years and nothing can be done abiut it as I am allergic to most meds used to treat it and I have a liver condition than makes taking painkillers pretty much impossible.
Since this bastard BC diagnosis and post my surgery on 31st March while waiting on chemo I have had had various new pains set in on that side... in my underarm, in the shoulder and down the arm and in chest and back muscless covering my ribs... Every time a new pain appears in that area I automatically think it must have spread as they are taking too long to treat me...
They took 5 weeks to organise my surgery post diagnoses and the bloody thing was already larget large and is rhe agressive grade 3 beast... now they are taking too long to organise chemo as a month kater still waiting for it...
It is easy to freak out and panic... I am hanging in there telling myself once chemo kicks in even if something had spread chemo will wipe it out. They all tell me chemo wipes it out...
So hang in there - if nothing else it could not have spread during chemo you have been having and it is surely too soon post chemo for it to do anything even if some cells made it through for some reason.
I hope that MRI comes through for you soon so you can sleep more easily...
Hugs...
Jel.
