Skin irritation from continually weeping eyes
I finally finished my chemo two weeks ago but my eyes are still continually weeping from the docetaxel. This has caused the skin on my cheeks to go red, dry & scaly like it’s burnt from the tears. Def...

Thank you Sunnyvic & Blossom, I went & bought paw paw cream & it feels lovely on my skin. I also got some long lasting eye drops for dry eyes. I’m not currently on steroids but I do like the moo goo ..... I just wasn’t sure of it for this issue. I do use the moo goo Shea butter on my feet for dryness. That has helped heaps. It may be good for your hands Sunnyvic ...... try using it at night with cotton gloves?
I had an issue when out as we stopped at Bunnings on the way to the chemist. My eyes started to really burn, sting & weep ...... I couldn’t see properly & the pain was intense. It took me a while to find my sunglasses in my handbag & I had to seek a shady area. I seem to have gotten very sun sensitive ...... I hope my eyes settle down soon as we are coming into spring & summer .....
