Silver regrowth
My hair is growing back rather quickly which was a surprise as I am still on weekly taxol...week 11 tomorrow. It has come back silver and white. Pre chemo it was brown with some grey at the front and underneath at the back. Even my netherlands are white.
My question is ladies is this a temporary colour loss and will colour start to return in a few months or will this be my new look?

I am just 2 weeks post my 4th (and last) AC - as they will not be giving me Taxol or any other Chemo (radiation is next starting in 2 weeks) and I was commenting just the other say that I appear to be going Albino...
Pre Chemo my hair was darkish blonde - no grays at all. Now have some half a centimetre of thin absolutely white fuzz. No clue if that is how it will end up in the end or if it changes but it is incredibly white... Kind of reminds me of my photos as a baby as, like most blondes, I used to have completely white hair, brows and lashes as a kid....
Got to say the white fuzz (with white basically invissible eye rows and eyelashes) just makes it look like I have nothing regrowing so kind of wish it would change to any colour - gray will even do as long as I can shake off the Albino paleness...

Just need a wee bit more at the front although contemplating a thick jair band to cover missing bits. Last dose Thursdsy next week...bring it on.
Hi Kath, your post got some interesting comments, I loved reading them. I finished treatment on the 19 April. My hair was medium brown, wore a bob style and was very thick. (I did colour it) It is slowly coming back. White with a dark streak from my crown to my forehead. Not sure if it will be curly or not. Don't think so.
It was the hardest thing loosing my hair. I am so looking forward to it returning again. And I will not be putting a colour in it. ??

that looks a lot like the back of my head! I was dark brown with bits of grey before bc, and now after rd 11 taxol yesterday, I have silver/ grey helmet hair. Still not sure if it is going curly, or if it is just pillow marks because I am so tired all the time. Looks like we both nearly have enough hair to ditch the lids! Hope you are handling Taxol ok...I have had a cold for the last 2 weeks which has made me slow to a crawl......the last dose can't come soon enough. Jane
