Shingles

Breast cancer diagnosed July 2015- already last year!

Had mastectomy (left- nipple preserving) and immediate reconstruction  with implant in August- just a slight problem with a seroma that was drained x3 post. 

Had 33 sessions of radiotherapy October through early December - skin all healed by Christmas??

Then developed Shingles on 28th December!!

Prior to this had been managing walks in various local groups, of between 2 and 4-6 hrs in length - 3-5 times per week- have not even managed to walk the dog since Shingles.

Have been in pain and taking various pain meds to target the nerve pain ( currently on a course of steroids) since..far worse than any of my cancer treatment??

Anyone else had this?
