Quick Hair Loss Question
I have a quickie question about hair loss. I am on Fec - have had 2 rounds. My hair started falling out 2 weeks after first round. I shaved to a 0 blade at 3 weeks and the stubble has steadily fallen out since (I am now day 9 after my second FEC). I still have some stubble all over my head and am wondering whether to expect it to all go or have some stubble remain? It doesn't really matter I suppose just wondering what the norm is?
Thanks
Amanda x

You look so beautiful Amanda. I keep scaring myself when I pass the mirror but I am used to the baldness. I don't look too bad when I put the make-up on and when I am feeling well. XLeonie

I am taking your advice as 'little bits of hair' are now making their way all over my pillow, clothes etc - so this afternoon it is coming OFF OFF OFF! I will look like a cancer patient, but so be it, that is what I am - there is no escape!

Hi all, I kept my eyebrows and eyelashes through AC but they fell out on Taxotere. When the eyelashes first came back in, they were short and spiky like barbed wire so I pulled them out again. But they grew back in nice and soft and long. Eyebrows are thinner than before I think.

Hey Joy, Mine did the same and I was sick of the "bits". My husband lathered me up with his brush etc and slowly and carefully he did the shave. So much better. It feels quite strange to touch = so soft and smooth and when I run passed a mirror I get one hell of a fright. But you will get used to it like I have. I even have gone totally bald around home this weekend. Take the dare - off off off!!!!!!!!XLeonie

Last week my oncologist told me "Your hair should start falling out in a couple of days". So I went home and checked in the mirror - I am fine, I thought smugley to myself. That is, until last night and I had washed my hair - (it's very short I had it cut 'just in case') I leaned over the bathroom sink and rubbed my hair and low and behold, the sink was covered! "Oops" Well, this morning the pillow didn't look much better, looked like a cat had slept on it (don't own a cat) but that's what it looked like, I took the pillow outside and gave it a good shake - and yes my hair looks thinner I can actually see my scalp already!

Amanda, you look really good .I think it's an "edgey" look for you.You have such a lovely face that it doesn't rely on hair to frame it.
