Quick Hair Loss Question
I have a quickie question about hair loss. I am on Fec - have had 2 rounds. My hair started falling out 2 weeks after first round. I shaved to a 0 blade at 3 weeks and the stubble has steadily fallen out since (I am now day 9 after my second FEC). I still have some stubble all over my head and am wondering whether to expect it to all go or have some stubble remain? It doesn't really matter I suppose just wondering what the norm is?
Thanks

Amanda, you look really good .I think it's an "edgey" look for you.You have such a lovely face that it doesn't rely on hair to frame it.

This has been really informative. I've just updated my profile pic - this was taken about a week ago by my daughter Alex - I have a little less stubble now but you get the idea. :-)

I still have my lashes and eyebrows too, and don't want to lose these although reading your posts this may be inevitable!! I am doing the look good feel better workshop next Saturday so may pick up some tips there!
My pubes are thinning (yay!!) and my pits have lost hair too. Going to shave my legs this morning and hopefully that won't grow back for a while! Gotta have some perks!
Take care all xx

Your son is so innocent and so funny.Lucky you still have your sense of humour.Did you end up getting a wig?I found my scalp too sore at first to wear mine.I never really took to it.

Thank you ladies, its only by asking you all about the more 'detailed' stuff that you get answers! So thank you - I am sick of flipping through mountains of leaflets, book and such like that I end up throwing it aside in frustration, it is all so vague! So thank you so much x x x Josie

Hi again, I lost most of my eyebrows and nearly all my eyelashes. I think that was the hardest as you look real different without eyelashes. As for the rest of my body, most of the hair on my legs went but not too much in the pube area. I was very disapointed, they were the only hairs I wouldnt have minded to lose altogether. Im just over a year since my last FEC but have had other treatments along the way and nearly all hair have grown back. My eyelashes are still a concern as they are still thin, but everywhere wlse is normal.

I'm getting used to experimenting a little though I got frustrated with my scarf yesterday and pulled a funky beanie on but it was a bit hot - lucky it will get cold soon. I had to wear my little sleep beanie to bed last night.
I was trying on some clothes in a shop yesterday when my son decided to open the door so all of the shop saw a bald half naked, wonky boobed Mummy! He then proceeded very loudly (he is 4) to discuss my boob with me - you have a hole mum, that's where they cut the cancer out, it looks funny but they left your red heart in cause you'd be dead otherwise wouldn't you! and on and on...
God - if it wasn't so funny I would have curled up in a ball :-)

Tonya - I laughed at the Biker/gypsy comment! I keep telling the kids their futures! I was very good at it last week - "I see Chocolate in your future!" lol

I haven't lost my brows and lashes yet but nothing is growing - usually I would be plucking a bit. I imagine I will lose them on the taxotere. I have lost my pubic hair and there isn't any hair growing on my legs or pits either - I guess there must be some upside to it!
