Periods after chemo

I'm 30. I had zoladex injections during chemo. I do not need to take any hormone therapies. I got my period back 3 months later x

Hello. 

I finished chemo april 20th.... Eagerly awaiting their return.... Never thought I'd be so excited for them!

I want to do the donor baby thing at the end of the yr, or next year, unless I meet a wonderful man in the mean time.

I forget our poor bodies have been through so much ! Our little ovaries are probably so upset with us right now. I can feel mine saying 'what is this chemical (aka chemo)? What have you done?'  lol! 

I also forgot to mention that my hot flushes have mostly gone now too, so yes, there is definitely hope! :)

Totally know what you mean about the hot flushes ! Every night it's blanket on, blanket off, blanket on, blanket off. Eventually I do the blanket half on and that works for a while lol! xo

I'm 29 years old, had my last chemo in March & my periods haven't returned yet either. They do say everyone's different. I was having hot flushes throughout my chemo as well but that was probably due to the Zoladex injections I was having & I'm getting them again now with the addition of Tamoxifen ughhh...not enjoying these menopausal symptoms!

I am 37 and finished my chemo in October of last year, I too experienced intense hot flushes especially with the addition of Tamoxifen to my body. My periods have just come back, had my first one in April and just had another one recently so my body is still a bit unsure of what it is doing but it is definitely back! Give it some more time it took six months for me.
