Oh those side effects! I feel for you and hope you’re doing a bit better.
I also had some months of Paclitaxel and then have been on Herceptin + Kadcyla since August.
For mental support, I accessed a Cancer Coach through my work employee assistance program. It was also available through my private health and income protection insurers. They were very helpful during my first few months of treatment - helping me to feel a little more ‘in control’ and positive about my situation.
To combat neuropathy the Mater Cancer Coordinator suggested compression gloves and socks. I’ve had great results, with very little neuropathy even after 14 months of chemo. I use Grade 3 compression socks and Grade 2 gloves (the highest grade I could find).
