I, like you, always have something on the go and can't just sit and watch TV unless I am knitting. Mum made sure all us girls knew how to knit.
At present our local CWA group are making cowls (short scarves) in lighter wool for Mothers Day gift for the ladies of the local Nursing home, at present there are 47 ladies in the Home. I've made 5 in 4ply and on my second in 5ply. Too thick in ply and we figure they wouldn't be worn but we see it as something to dress themselves up a bit. Always open to suggestion for ideas
One of my sisters is busy making fingerless gloves, in all sizes, as part of the fundraising for the Relay for Life - last year Samantha, my niece, had all her hair cut off to support me!
