NERVE PAIN??

Hello all, it's been a while since I have posted any words. I am concerned about some sharp, cramp like pains in my breast and wondered if anyone else has suffered these? It is like a burning pain which is very intense and I cannot move. They last for 15 seconds or more and occur any time.

Any suggestions? I have been told it may be nerve pain. It feels like something is bursting. Not very nice at all.

  • Hi Anne-Marie, hope your shingles has gone. I am told it is very uncomfortable.

  • Hiya Christine......thanks for your comment. I haven't been on site for a while. Hope all is well with you.

Yes, I am told it is nerve pain. Very uncomfortable and hits at extraordinary times.Part of the process......

  • I have experienced nerve pain for the last two years since my radiation finished.  I am still on Lyrica for it, albeit a mild dose of 25mg twice a day.  Your symptoms sound similar to mine.  Have a word to your doctor and they should be able to give you something to settle it.

  • Hi Ronni, I did experience chest pain, thinking I may be having heart problems I called the radio Dr, it was Sat night.  He check me out and said all was good.  On the Sunday night my husband saw a rash about as big as a 20cent piece. We called the radio Dr again and was lucky to get the same one back. He said it was shingles.  I'm sure your is not that and is probably nothing. I think it worth a visit back to your GP.....just for piece of mind. Good luck and please keep us posted.

  • Hi my discomfort is similar. It feels like a clamp on the chest. I'm sure that it's nerve pain.

Hope it settles for you soon.
