My hair is coming off tomorrow :-(
Well my oncologist told me I would lose my hair two weeks after my first chemo. He was right. Even though I foolishly hoped that I would be one of the ones that it wouldn't happen to.
I noticed some...

You are doing really well to wear your wig for 10 hours straight, Linda. I can never wear mine for very long without getting really hot and itchy.
I have a wig cap that I wear under it as well as a gel head band (from headcovers. com) that helps to distribute the pressure of the wig around your head. I've also tried wetting the cap to make it cooler to wear the wig (might be ok in cooler air conditioned situation).
The headaches will hopefully settle (the gel headband seemed to help with mine) as your head settles from effects of chemo.
I have always had a few hairs that did not fall out and they do seem to have grown. Some are about a cm or so long. I am due for last of 6 chemos next week.
As for how long it takes and in what condition it grows back, I think this varies hugely. I am hoping to be able to go wigless by Christmas but will just have to wait and see!
Take care
