Hi @Tasia
I feel for you! I have also found days 4 and 5 after AC particularly hard. Very low on energy and feeling terrible! I got plantar fasciitis (inflamed heel) a couple of weeks ago (probably from too much lying around), and that has meant no walks, either, which is very hard.
Mouth ulcers: I have been gargling with 1 teaspoon of salt and half a teaspoon of bicarb morning and night since I started chemo (AC x 4 over 8 weeks).
Nausea: I have found drinking water helps with my nausea, also around half an hour after I wake, I need to eat something (it also was what I had to do to stave off morning sickness). Drinking a few drops of apple cider vinegar in a glass of warm water before I eat first thing. I also found raw celery helpful. It is cold and full of water! Eating protein every 2-3 hours works for me: that could be a cup of warm milo, some nuts, some toast or crackers with cheese, some chicken or miso soup, celery or carrot sticks with dip. Now and then if I'm feeling nauseous I eat a piece of glacé ginger. After bad thrush in my 30s and while pregnant I know I need to stay away from sugary things, but I will sometimes have some cordial in mineral water for variety!
Reflux: I take slippery elm capsule 5 minutes/just before I eat a main meal. Plus all of the above.
I've just had my last AC treatment, and in 10 days start Taxol weekly for 12 weeks.
