Well the first week on Letrozole is done. Only 519 to go...
I reviewed the (very long) list of side effects today. Like so many of these things, many of these can occur in life anyway.
My ankles are still sore. I'm not yet prepared to say definitively that it's Letrozole. We'll see.
I have had the occasional wave of dizziness, and nausea. The latter is especially unusual for me, the former has been popped up every now and then post chemo & post- operation.
I've had the runs a bit this week. Maybe the Letrozole, maybe not.
Abdominal pain is an interesting one. I've had some odd twinges. But I've just had huge abdominal surgery. Only time will tell.
The side effects I can be most sure about (though not definitively) being as a result of the Letrozole are mucosal dryness, dry mouth and thirst. I did not have them last week and I have this week. I drink a lot of water, always have, but this week I have not been able to quench my thirst in any way shape or form. It's irritating but not the end of the world by any means.
No frequent urination or sudden onset anorexia! Huzzah!
