No worries @Romla. I take your words in the spirit they were written. There is wisdom in them. I will try to do the things that bring me joy as (hopefully) my energy returns.
I am very tired. Six months of diagnosis, wide local excision, re-excision, chemotherapy and a nine hour double mastectomy and DIEP reconstruction is exhausting to say the least. 13 hours under general anaesthetic in total. My oncologist says it takes a year to get back to 100% after chemo. And as you know, some here say two and some say never.
I am so much luckier than so many here and I do count my blessings. Chief of which is my darling husband!
