I had fever once on the weekend while on chemo. The fever was 37.5 and I also had a cough and wheezing. We called the home doctor who could not identify any issues. The doctor said he also works in emergency and they sometimes find patients on chemo presenting with high fever, but all their tests come up negative and no specific reason for the fever can be identified. Maybe check with the doctors if this might be the case with you.
I also went to the GP the next day and did x ray and sputum tests which were all negative.
