Hair loss
Hi there
So my hair has begun to come out with the chemo. Its quite knotty when i get up of a morning. Should i sleep with something on my head at night? Not sure what to do.

- Kiwi_AngelMember@Harvey1903 @Vangirl the loss of the nose hairs also turned me into a snorer until they grew back!!
- kmakmMemberGood thing to remember to warn about @Vangirl. The rapidity with which the fluid descends is alarming!
- VangirlMember@Harvey1903 make sure you're prepared with handkerchief or Kleenex on hand for when your nose hairs go!
No-one mentioned it to me but I now have a new appreciation for the vital role they play, not least in keeping snot from escaping at will with nary a moment's notice! - kmakmMember@Harvey1903 @Trikki2 Doesn't the water feel sensational on your scalp?! I loved it. And yes, the shiny giney was quite something... Having never had a Brazilian it was also a very new experience! I loved my smooth legs and armpits. It was quite a shock when I had to start dealing with all that again! K xox
- Trikki2MemberLove it, yes no shaving anywhere or waxing. I have no leg hair, no underarm hair etc. Loveit
Trikki2 - Harvey1903MemberOK. Had shower, bald head no worries. Soaped up - where did that hair come from. OMG. Wasn't even on my horizon. So I will finally know what all the fuss was about with Brazilian's. o:)
- Trikki2MemberIt looks fantastic. Really suits you xx
- Harvey1903MemberThanks @Kmakm @kiwi angel. @dougal. Harvey is a toy poodle, some had to do it. My hairdresser cried as she was shaving it off. I was fine. Couldn't stand another day with hair dropping everywhere. It's actually quite liberating, looking forward to a shower. Hope all goes well Thursday, my second is next Thursday. J

- dougalMemberYou look fantastic @Harvey1903. I will be joining you today, my hairdresser is coming to my house to shave my head as clumps are falling out as soon as I touch it, managed to get to day 19 after first chemo and possibly could wait a bit longer but it looks such a mess and it freaks me out when I have a handful of hair! I'm scared and really grumpy today but I know there is no choice and seeing you looking so good gives me encouragement. I would put a before and after photo up but I'm useless with computers and don't know how to! Your little doggy is just like my Dougal who is a chocolate spoodle! Good luck for your next round of chemo @Harvey1903. My second lot is this Thursday. I will ask for neulasta injection this time and try and avoid another trip to the hospital.
