Hair loss
Hi there So my hair has begun to come out with the chemo. Its quite knotty when i get up of a morning. Should i sleep with something on my head at night? Not sure what to do. Xx Trikki2

@Fletch It's intensely personal. Please don't judge yourself for your reaction. You know how we all bang on about being kind to yourself? This is the sort of thing we mean!
I shaved my head and surprised myself by how much I liked the look. For me it was more about the loss of privacy, everyone could tell what was happening. But I got used to it. Now my hair is back and I love it super short and am keeping it like this for at least a year.
Others slap on a wig and go about their business with confidence as a result. We're all different and there's no judgement here.
Have a good cry, vent, and shake your fist at the injustice of it all, whatever makes you feel better. Sounds like you've already got your big girl undies half way up to your chin anyway! Good on you for seizing control today. Well done.
My hair was all gone in early February and by the end of May I had a decent covering once more. You'll be right. K xox
