Hair Loss?
Well 14 days post 1st round of AC chemo and all hair seems firmly planted. I expected to be losing clumps by now. Sounds weird but I just want this bit done and dusted so I can stop fretting about it...

The hair loss was definitely traumatic for me because it makes the whole thing real. Mine started falling out thick and fast after 3 weeks. I found it easier to shave it all off - so my pillow stopped looking like a fur ball every morning!
I was prepared and had pretty scarves and a real hair wig (which I found cooler than synthetic. More expensive but worth it, given I have to wear this thing for almost a year!).
I lost my eyelashes and eyebrows after 5 months of chemo. I found this hard because I'm not very good at drawing on eyebrows.
A friend of mine was having chemo (for breast cancer) at the same time as me. She used the cold caps during her sessions but still lost her hair the same time as me. Everyone is different though .
