Hair Loss?
Well 14 days post 1st round of AC chemo and all hair seems firmly planted. I expected to be losing clumps by now. Sounds weird but I just want this bit done and dusted so I can stop fretting about it...

I am 15 days post 1st AC chemo, and yesterday I experienced the magic trick of being able to present 20 or so hairs on demand any time I ran my fingers through it. It is a bit weird, and even though the nurse told me it would happen at the two week stage, it wasn't real until it started happening. Last night I grabbed my pillow and pulled out a hank of hair with it. When the kids are around, I offer my head to them with the words "make a wish!", which grosses them out. I have a social thing to go to tonight, then after that I am clippering it off, as it is just too messy.
You're right though, the anticipation is the worst, and I think many people end up getting a shorter cut, just to take back some control, which is what I did.
And anyway, you might end up being a statistical anomaly, and retain your hair..... everyone is so different.
