It's over 3 years since I finished chemo and I reckon my hair is still changing. I got frizzy chemo curls ( my hair had always been dead straight) and the initial growth was chalk white. Over time it got much darker (ie less grey!) than before chemo and then developed a blonde element. 18 months ago, I started getting an unusual degree of hair loss, no real reason ever detected, but it has settled and it's fine. We are all grateful to get hair back, but I suspect for some at least it can take a long time to recover, so you may still get improvement .
