Hair loss and time frame

After this mornings message I went and cut my hair. Its now about 2.5 -3 inches (60-70mm)long. Every time I moved my hair it was getting hair caught around my fingers. I don't mind it though I know it won't be there for long.
My mum got me a cheeky short black wig but after readings many comments about people not really wearing them,starting to think spending good money may be a waste.
I too hope the delivery is close, it has my sleep beanie. Winter is not my favourite season.
