I got the number 3 clippers and would seriously have kept my hair that short afterwards if not for a childhood injury which left a noticeable bald patch on the back of my head! Quite liberating! But a big change for anyone with long hair, particularly if it’s really part of who you are. But time usually fixes all. Best wishes.
