Hair gone!
Thank you so much to the people who commented on their decisions to shave. Yesterday I had a friend look at my head and she noticed a blue/black spot on my scalp. You would all know what I expected!! First I worried and then I got mad! I decided that I have been a victim too long! Cancer- you evil little (insert expletive) you have picked on the wrong woman!! I set my alarm early and went for a cross walk! I went to see the doctor and I have probably had the mole forever; it is ok , phew! Then I went to my friend and we shared a drink while she shaved my head. I can't believe how much better I feel. I have showered and moisturised my sore scalp. I don't look too bad and I am in control!

All power to you!! I love my bald head. We have nothing to be ashamed of. I say embrace it.

It felt fabulous to be rid of the falling hair.
Yes...I have several solar keratosis in my scalp. I wash my head now in face cleanser and moisturise as needed but did it diligently for 1st 2 weeks.
Good on you!!! I too have a large blue black freckle under my hair which freaked me out when I shaved my head!!! It feels so good to take charge of some things. My new catch phrase is bald is the new black!
