Furry mouth
Well Chemo 5 has not been quite as easy as the others. The main issue is my mouth, no ulcers just white coating all over and now I have no taste at all which is of course affecting my interest and abi...
Many thanks for these ideas. Soda water is arriving tomorrow so I will experiment. I found some fruit juice actually helped reduce the fuzz and I actually 'enjoyed; some food.. I'll try all the rest tomorrow, perhaps avoiding the fizzy stuff coming out of my nose. Red wine for breakfast....... not there yet! Still I am doing better than I expected and only one more chemo to go (hopefully). A wonderful friend came over and gave me a foot massage today, it didn't help my mouth issues but my goodness I want her to come every day from now on.........This is yet another thing that is going down on my list of things to be ready to do for friends in the future. These are the kindness moments that are solid gold.
