I lost my taste buds on Taxol. They came back soon after my last treatment, which is the good news. Conventional wisdom is to try stronger tasting or spicy food, but that didn’t work at all for me. The only things that tasted relatively normal were eggs (no
idea why!) and uncooked food including avocado, banana and salad (lettuce, tomato even cucumber). It may be trial and error until you find what you can actually enjoy. Otherwise eat as well and as regularly as you can - it’s boring but it’s great if you want to lose a few kilos! It could be worse - a friend, on the same treatment years before, experienced everything tasting burnt. Now that’s really unpleasant. Best wishes.
