Shudder shudder at the thought of fibromyalgia!
I had spinal surgery 23 years ago and wound up with fibromyalgia. Hubby just had to tap me on the arm and I would wince with pain. I had a lot of Physio, which I found painful because of the sensitivity of all joints across my body.
I was under a Rheumatoid specialist and he made me a concoction of magnesium and something else, can't remember now! We couldn't buy magnesium over the counter back then.
Eventually I gained some fitness and it subsided. I found any stress would trigger it.
Wind forward to Breast cancer and Mastectomy and I could feel fibromyalgia starting up again. I got myself to Physio, the same one from all those years ago, concentrating on keeping stress under control and trying to maintain and gain some fitness.
No medication helped for me.
Since Breast Cancer I have had further major surgery and I have managed to keep a lid on the fibromyalgia.
I hope you can get through treatment and bring fibromyalgia under control.
Best wishes
Take care and stay safe
