Hi, I too dreaded losing my hair, but when it started to fall out everytime I touched it was time to cut it off. Very confronting but with everything else going on not that impotant.
I did purchase a wig and I mainly wore it for work and out sometimes, but most of the time I wore scarves much easier, you can look on line and learn how to tie scarves so they dont fall off.
Good luck with chemo it does end and your hair will grow back, mine has come back grey and very curly.
My head is like a pregnant belly where people can't resist touching it!
