Eyebrows-Post Chemo

A minor problem in the scheme of things.
But my eyebrows don't seem to be growing back.
I finished my 20 weeks Chemo, Sept 2020.
My eyelashes fell out just prior to finishing Chemo, and have grown back not too long after.
My eyebrows have always been thin, but I still have none 8 months after Chemo.
Has anyone had the same?
Does anyone have suggestions to encourage eyebrow growth.
Or might this be permanent?
Luckily I had them tattooed, prior to Chemo.(They will fade)
Any advice?

  • @Abbydog my eyebrows and eyelashes fell out completely a week after my last taxol mid Dec’20. Now they’ve grown back patchily. I learned great eyebrow drawing tips on LGFB zoom at start of chemo in August’20, and I’m still using those tips... daily!
  • @Abbydog, my eyebrows never grew back properly either! Super annoying
  • I used a serum I bought from chemist warehouse - L’Oréal brand. It was for lashes but I figured I would just rub it on. My brows and lashes came back but I don’t know if it was the serum. You could give it a go. I want to get mine tattooed. While I waited for mine to grow back I bought heaps of things to help me draw them on. I got plastic stencils that were great - perfect arches every time. They were just in a little brow kit - again not expensive but super useful.
  • Mine are patchy too. I watched a youtube video of an alopecia sufferer to learn how to draw them in more realistically. Even now they always look much better when i do it.
  • Mine grew back thinner and patchy.   I'm not so great at colouring them.
  • Mine came back beautifully after chemo, then half fell out again and the remainder went pale grey.  So, no advice from me - if there's nothing there to colour you may have to get them tattooed again.
