Hi Ruth, thank you for your emails and offer of contact, I really appreciate it. I figure I have a bit of time to make up my mind re the masectomy, - hopefully being on Femara will provide some form of protection. I know it would be a relief, but to be honest, I'm just not quite ready to make that decision; I need to talk to some people re their experiences; and I'm hoping to do that at our local support group. I also apologise for not replying sooner; I find the messages I get from the BCNA website a bit confusing, and I think I've replied to everyone, and then find out I haven't! Sorry. I hadn't heard of Lynch syndrome until you mentioned it; you've certainly copped it. I am concerned about passing the gene to my sons, they haven't decided about being tested yet, and I respect their decision, whatever it is. We have a huge history of prostate cancer (which is linked to BRCA1 and 2); so I am worried; but try not to let it overtake. Off to spend a weekend with my cousins, so probably won't be near a computer until Monday. Take care, love, bella x
